Founder/ Head Chef John Swiatek

Head Pastry Chef John Swiatek set up his first Western Australian cake store over 30 years ago. He first learned and developed his craft back in his home country of Poland before coming across to Australia. John has a famous reputation for his Polish-inspired delicacies which people have traveled far and wide across Perth for a taste.

 We specialise in Polish donuts

At Chopin Patisserie & Cafe, we specialise in Polish Donuts which are known as pączki. Our pączki are filled with our home-made plum jam, which we make with fruits from local farms and then cook from scratch. Our sweet dough is hand-made fresh every morning with only natural traditional ingredients which is then filled before being deep fried. If you haven't tried pączki before, you simply must as they are unlike any other donut in Perth! Pączki are known worldwide by a variety of names, such as: Bombolini, Gogosi, Berliner and Krapfen.
